We're not going to say anything. We'll just leave you to stare at this gorgeous shot of the fresh guacamole and that tantalizing drip of your soon-to-be-favourite peanut butter.
Here's the simplest, most delicious recipe we could find for this quick sandwich.
The Guacamole:
-
In a medium bowl, mash together one avocado, a squeeze of lime juice, some salt to taste
-
Mix in half a chopped onion, some cilantro, half a tomato and a little garlic. Stir in some pepper if you'd like
-
Refrigerate for 1 hour for best flavour (or serve immediately if you cannot wait to eat. *slurp*)
Assembling the perfect sandwich:
-
Slice the sourdough (or any bread you please) and toast the bread for that nice crunch
-
Spread a *generous* helping of the Guac on the toast.
-
Top it up with the Chilli Chutney for an extra *zing*. You can drizzle this in lines across the sandwich too, so you get peanut in every bite. Or you can dollop like we do.
Helpful tip - to get a better drizzle from the peanut butter, take some out in a microwave safe bowl, heat it for 15 seconds, and then drizzle off a spoon. The peanut butter gets a little more flow-y when it's warm.
Enjoy!
