amazing product but a little on the expensive side

Really have been enjoying the Happy Jar peanut butter but find it a little expensive for me to continue the product. But great taste and packaging. Wish the pricing could be lowered for a regular consumption of the product.

Do you use Dark Chocolate or Compound?

We use real, vegan, dark chocolate that has cocoa and some sugar, no milk or milk solids. We don’t use compounds because they are made with vegetable oils and fats. They're cheaper, but they're not good for your body.

What type of peanuts do you use?

We use 100% Java peanuts, that are naturally higher in protein, slightly sweeter tasting and are one of the best grades of peanut quality available in India.

Why do you use Jaggery?

When we were looking for something to make our peanut butter sweet, we found organic jaggery to be the best when it comes to nutrition and flavour profile. We were the first one in India to use jaggery in our nut butters.

What's the shelf-life of this product?

We have a shelf-life of 12 months. If you are surprised, we were equally surprised when the lab results came back. It's good for 12 months from the date of manufacturing because we created a process which is unlike anyone in India, retaining the integrity of the peanut while keeping the flavour intack is what makes this one special.
