We all love the rich, thick texture of hazelnut spread—it’s dense with flavour, has a hint of roasted nuts and brings an earthy aroma to whatever it is you mix it with. Your taste buds will thank you when they get to tuck into a spoonful of the Happy Jars Chocolate Hazelnut Spread.
How is Happy Jars different?

We've made this a guilt-free indulgence to make your morning routine feel even more special as you reward yourself for reaching your health goals.
The Happy Jars Chocolate Hazelnut spread is made with zero palm oil, lower sugar, vegan dark chocolate and is guilt-free. The fat content gives a healthy boost to the body, while the protein and Vitamin E helps you feel more energised throughout the day.
4 simple reasons: Why we are better ?
- Double the hazelnuts compared to other brands of hazelnut spread. They have 13% hazelnut content, we have 30%.
- Vegan dark chocolate which is lower in sugar and doesn't have any milk or milk solids.
- 40% less sugar than other brands of hazelnut spread. This is thanks to the chocolate we use and the proportion of nuts.
- Zero palm oil. Palm oil is a saturated fat and your body doesn't need it. Our hazelnut spread has no added oils at all.
What's healthy about hazelnuts?

A delicious spread made with zero palm oil and lower sugar is a great way to enjoy hazelnuts as a snack or add it to recipes that include Nutella.
The best nutritionists will tell you that the first thing to do when getting fit is to include nuts and seeds in your diet daily. That's because they contain no cholesterol and have a lot of antioxidants which can reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Hazelnuts are one of those super foods that deserve a mention in terms of health benefits. While they're healthy, always be mindful of the quantity you consume - too much of anything is not good for you.
1. Supports a healthy bowel

Hazelnuts are high fibre. A 28g serving has approximately 2.7g of dietary fibre which encourages a healthy bowel movement and prevents constipation.
2. Helps maintain a healthy weight

As with all nuts, hazelnuts naturally have protein which helps to keep you satiated and fills you up. The protein levels in hazelnut are lower than in peanut butter, but they contribute to a balanced diet and eating hazelnuts instead of fatty, sugary food during those evening hunger pang moments is definitely the healthier choice.
3. Protects against cell damage

4. Supports heart health

There was a medical study in 2013 which showed that adding hazelnuts to the diet decreased peoples’ levels of a particular form of bad cholesterol. This type of cholesterol could contribute to heart problems. Hazelnuts could therefore reduce the levels of harmful cholesterol in the body.
