Instead of maida, we use oats which prevents you from feeling bloated after eating them. We recommend drizzling some of our Hazelnut Chocolate spread to make it extra special.

The classic oats pancake mix is delicious and easy to make. It would be easier if the instructions were for either a full packet or half a packet (the packet is 200 g and the instructions are for 120 g). We found that we needed about double the milk that the instructions called for in order to get the batter the correct consistency. I've already ordered more!

What are these pancake made of?

Simple and basic ingredients make for the best pancakes. We have used only 4 ingredients here - Oats Flour, Cassava Flour, Raw Unrefined Sugar and a pinch of Baking Powder. Cassava flour is a great replacement for maida while also being low in calories, fat and sugar. Cassava contains important nutrients that may help manage digestive health and maintain insulin levels.

Does the product contain any sugar?

Pancakes are best enjoyed sweet, so we have added raw unrefined sugar in this mix and also giving you no reason scrabble for ingredients. Raw Unrefined sugar comes with all the nutrients like calcium, iron and magnesium which are generally stripped away when it comes to refined sugar.

What equipment should I use to cook pancakes?

This is the simplest pancake to make at home, no extra ingredients needed except milk which we feel is always present in an Indian household. All you need is add a little milk to pancake mix in a bowl, make sure the consistency of the batter is thick rather than runny to make fluffy pancakes. Once the pancakes are ready you can top them up whichever way you like with fruits, syrups, nut butters, etc.

Can the pancakes be cooked without milk?

We know there are many people with lactose intolerance there and a few who follow a vegan lifestyle. Yes, you can make these pancake without milk, instead you can use any milk substitute like almond, cashew and soy to make a few. You could also try it with water. Why does my pancake have a dry texture?

There are a few things you can do to avoid your pancakes from turning dry.
- Avoid over mixing the batter.
- Let the batter rest for 5 mins giving the baking powder time to activate.
- Make sure the pan is not over heated, use a medium flame to cook on.
