Eat Peanut Butter for Everyday Strength

Protein is not just for gymmers and fitness enthusiasts. It's for people like you and me to be able to do everyday things like lift our groceries, our kids or our furniture, or run and play sports. Protein is important for you to feel energetic during a chaotic and busy day. Protein is for Everyday Strength.

What is Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is a relatively unprocessed, high protein spread, made by roasting and grinding peanuts. A pure and natural peanut butter will have only 1 ingredient - peanuts. Flavoured peanut butters can include sweeteners like jaggery, honey or sugar, or chocolate and other fruit flavours.

Many commercial brands use hydrogenated fats, trans fats, sugars and palm or other oils. These additions are not healthy.

When buying a peanut butter, always aim for one with fewer ingredients - ideally, something that has only peanuts and other real food ingredients like real chocolate, jaggery or spices.

Why is Peanut Butter Healthy

Peanut Butter is a true superfood. It has a great balance of Protein, Carbs and Good Fat, which make it an ideal fitness food, especially for vegetarians and vegans who don't consume meat.

Peanut Butter is high in protein. As part of the legume family, peanuts can give up to 22.5g of Protein in 100g quantity.

It has low Carbohydrate content. Peanut butter has only 20% Carbohydrates which makes it suitable for Low-Carb-High-Fab diets like Keto.

With a good dose of good (monosaturated) fats, peanut butter makes for a great addition to weight-loss diets despite having a high calorie count. The fats in peanut butter are similar to the ones that come from olive oil, and are known to help improve insulin sensitivity.

As a result, peanut butter gives your body energy and the strength it needs to remain active and fit. Protein is good for maintaining healthy hair, skin and nails, and as part of a balanced diet, it can help you to get up to 16% of your Recommended Daily Allowance of this essential macronutrient.

Which flavour to choose

Depending on whether you're a peanut butter lover or a newbie, we have a range of flavours available in Happy Jars.

We predict you have some questions. Don't worry, we've got the answers.

What do you mean by 'Natural' & 'Clean' label?

Happy Jars recipes use natural ingredients - the kind you can eat directly. Clean label refers to our commitment to using as few ingredients as possible and making sure those are all real food - not chemicals and formulations.

We use peanuts, almonds, cashews, jaggery, dark chocolate & salt which are all things you'd find in your own kitchen and use in your cooking. There are no added oils, hydrogenated fats or preservatives in any of our products.

Does the oil on top of my jar mean it's spoiled?

Oil separation is actually a good thing and is proof that you are eating a natural product. It happens because there are no added emulsifiers to keep the ingredients mixed in together after they are blended. Don't throw that oil away - mix it back into the nut butter so you maintain that creamy consistency. You may also see a thin layer of oil on our dessert bites which comes from the nuts we use in the recipe.

Do nut butters have dairy or butter in them?

Nope. Happy Jars products are dairy free and vegan. They are called nut 'butters' because many people use them as a healthier alternative to regular butter.

Peanut butter is fattening, right?

Did you know 9 out of 10 nutritionists recommend eating nut butter for weight loss & healthy diets? Here's why.

Nuts have good fats present in them naturally - the kind of fat our bodies need for strength and well being.

Happy Jars peanut butters have no hydrogenated fats, palm or refined oils added. So you're getting only the good, heart-healthy fats.

So no, peanut butter is not fattening if you add it to a balanced diet in moderation.

Can I eat Happy Jars if I'm Diabetic?

The unsweetened peanut, almond and cashew butters are made with just pure nuts with no sweetener added - not even fake substitutes. Those are usually considered safe to eat for diabetics and people avoiding sugar. However we always suggest that ou consult with your doctor just to be sure.

Why is the peanut butter so sticky?

You may find Happy Jars sticking to your mouth more than other store-bought brands and that's because we don't add any oil or hydrogenated fats. So eating Happy Jars is like eating a mouthful of nuts. Bliss.

What if I'm allergic to peanuts?

Oh no! In that case, please don't eat peanut butter although we'd love for you to buy a jar for someone else and wistfully watch as they devour it :). Just kidding. You could try our almond and cashew butters though, which are also nutrient-dense and delicious.

Why is Happy Jars expensive?

We are obsessed with buying the best possible ingredients, just like you do for your family. Our recipes use natural, real food, like the kind you'd find in your home kitchen. And we don't compromise on quality for cost.

Good things don't come cheap. We use a branded, organic jaggery and a vegan, dark chocolate. We don't use cheap chocolate pastes or compounds. We use 100% Java peanuts which are produced for the export market so they are much more expensive than the Indian Bold variety of peanuts.

All these ingredients lead to a higher cost base, and so we're more expensive in some product categories. But we can promise this - once you taste a Happy Jars peanut butter, you will not be able to eat another brand.

Can I order in bulk?

We have most of our nut butters in 1kg jars, which you can find here. If you would like to order a larger quantity or make a bulk purchase, please contact us at or call us at +91 99805 55088.

Where are your products manufactured?

All our products are made in our own manufacturing kitchen in Delhi - that's where the magic happens. Having our own manufacturing gives us the ability to follow our unique production process and deliver the best quality products each time, guaranteed.

Can I get a discount code?

Yes, sometimes you can :). There are different offers running at different points in time and you'll receive them via email or they'll be showing on this website on the top or bottom of the page.

Keep in touch with us on email to receive all the latest offers.

Are your jars glass or plastic?

All our jars are food-grade, BPA-free plastic. They are made with virgin
plastic that is 100% recyclable. BPA-free is the same grade that is used for baby feeding bottles so it’s safe when in contact with food.

After finishing the jar, simply wash the jar and use it to store spices, coffee, etc.

When is the best time to consume Happy Jars Nut butters?

Happy Jars makes high protein, healthy food which is great at breakfast and as a 4pm snack. Our nut butters are the perfect high protein breakfast with toast, oats or your protein shake.

Afters Desserts are designed to be had 'after' a meal. It's just the right portion and one bite will kill your sugar cravings and prevent binge eating.

How is Happy Jars different?

When we started in 201 we could not find a natural nut butter without added sugar, preservatives and hydrogenated oil. So we decided to make one for ourselves. We created a simple, delicious recipe which is still being used - our Jaggery peanut butter.

We're different becuase we think about food differently. Diets are shortlived and unhappy. But if you change your relationship with food and make it a positive one, you can learn to eat everything you love, in moderation and without bans.

We are obsessed with buying the best quality ingredients and we will never cut corners for the sake of cost. That's also why some people find Happy Jars expensive. But the cheapest products can never be the best quality.

What's the shelf life of your products?

12 months for nut butters & 9 months for Afters Dessert Bites. And no, we don't add preservatives at all!

We have created a process which is unlike any other brand in India. This retains the integrity of the produce, while keeping the flavours intact.

Is Happy Jars Vegan?

Yes almost all our products are vegan. We use a dark chocolate that doesn't have milk or milk solids. And we use jaggery as a sweetener (not honey).

The only exception is the Almond Berry Chocolate Spread which uses a milk based white chocolate.

Do I need to refrigerate the products?

We have all our products tested at an NABL certified lab at room temperature. They don't spoil for the declared shelf life and are certified for this.

Once opened also, you can leave them on your dining table or kitchen counter, away from direct heat or sunlight.

You can refrigerate them if you like, especially if temperatures go above 50 degrees. But you don't need to.

One word of warning: don't double-dip spoons. Always use a clean spoon to serve yourself from the jar, otherwise it will spoil.

Do you use Dark Chocolate or Compound?

We use real, vegan, dark chocolate that has cocoa and some sugar, no milk or milk solids. We don’t use compounds because they are made with vegetable oils and fats. They're cheaper, but they're not good for your body.

Are all your products Gluten-Free?

Yes, all our products are naturally Gluten-free.
